Case Manager – Claims Management

Our client is a team of highly experienced and qualified wealth management professionals who have been tasked with building a department out of their offices in Altrincham, for an established legal practise to specialise in all aspects of financial services mis-selling.

Their primary targets are pensions and investment mis-selling however they have plans to expand into other areas of insurance and mortgages.

Their team are experts at analysing individual cases and identifying the numerous grounds upon which claims can and should be made via FSCS and FOS however they do not have experience in packaging the cases with FSCS and FOS preferred guidelines.

They are looking for somebody with experience in dealing with FSCS and FOS in a claims management environment or at volume in the legal sector. 

This individual will be a key member of staff as they will be advising the board on how best to streamline systems and processes to help support rapid growth and will ultimately be responsible for recruiting and training a team of case handlers with absolute priority being placed upon the best possible customer experience in terms of customer service, professionalism and the best possible client outcomes.

Day to day activities

Handling new cases 

-              producing multiple subject access requests per client and issuing out to providers 

-              chasing SAR information

-              fortnightly client updates (delivered by SMS, Phone or email as per client preferences)

-              Weekly updates with board on case workload

-              Packaging information for analysis and review (administrative and supervised)

-              Submitting cases via FSCS portal

-              Submitting complaints to trading entities

-              Liaising with FOS (rarely)


40 hours per week

8am-7pm - Mon to Thu

8am - 5pm FridaY

Normal working hours

10am to 6pm mon to thur

9am to 3pm Friday
