Client Service Executive - Surrey

Job Description

The Financial Success Programme, their unique financial planning process, starts by identifying an individual’s life-goals, long-term ambitions and ideals. They combine advice and on-going support to help their clients achieve these goals through state of the art investment portfolio construction; cashflow planning and modelling; pension and retirement planning; inheritance tax and estate planning and capital protection.

 The Role

You will be engaged from the outset in proactively managing their client relationships. Below are some of the activities that you would be expected to undertake:

 Assist the Financial Planner with all preparatory client analysis and recommendations

  • Pro-actively review the client’s financial arrangements with regard to pension, investment and general insurance policies/plans
  • Assist with the preparation of all suitability letters and implementation reports
  • Draft all in-house reports and recommendations for the Financial Planner to check
  • Lead the annual review of client tax allowance planning
  • Act as a primary point of client contact
  • Speak to clients to obtain all personal financial information
  • Attending client meetings when required
  • Fulfil all action points from client meetings and monitor all application forms sent out
  • Work with your Client Service Assistant to ensure all work is carried out in a timely manner to ensure the delivery of the Financial Success Programme
  • Dealing with client correspondence within SLAs
  • Be responsible for client record keeping accuracy and completeness in the office’s database system
  • Using the office’s computerised diary and task allocation system
  • Assist with booking the Financial Planner’s appointments
  • Undertake additional project work – as and when required

The Skills

You will be a competent and capable individual with a can-do attitude and the following skills:

  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Confident with numbers, precise and accurate in documentation and record-keeping
  • Pro-active, highly-organised and efficient to enable you to prioritise effectively
  • Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Confident in dealing with people at all levels

Requirements Essential:

  • The unrestricted right to work in the UK
  • English at mother tongue or equivalent level
  • 2 years + experience at an Advisory or Wealth Management Firm
  • Minimum of 2 industry recognised exams
  • A high standard of proficiency with Microsoft Office products

 Desirable:

  • Degree level educated
  • Strong knowledge of Advisor Office and Voyant software
