Job Summary
As an employed Independent Financial Adviser, it is your role to understand your clients’ present and future financial goals and develop a clear financial plan with easy-to-understand financial strategies. Deliver dependable and exceptional customer service and direct your clients to financial success and independence.
Main Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge of the mission and guiding principles of the Financial Group customers.
- Complying with the clients' advising process, maintaining regulatory competence, and meeting KPI criteria.
- Always Representing the clients’ brand in a pleasant and professional way.
- Generating new business from existing and potential clients as well as qualified introducers.
- Use the Six-Stage Advice Process to create lasting connections and provide superb client outcomes.
- Find new clients by using company lead generating programmes, personal business planning, recommendations, and professional introducers.
- Building and sustaining strong connections with clients and introducers through client meetings, seminars, and ongoing team and Contact Centre feedback.
- Making contact with businesses and individuals to schedule meetings, either in a physical location like an office, at the clients' homes or places of work, or digitally via Microsoft Teams.
- Conducting thorough analyses of clients' financial situations, present offerings, and long-term goals and ambitions.
- Ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, in compliance with the law, and in a way that complies with the company's standards.
- Constantly pushing for improvements in the quality of client files and recommendations.
- Conducting research, analysing data, and creating financial planning reports that are most suited to each client's needs and include all areas of advice
- Comply with regulatory components of the position, such as disclosure obligations, service prices, and product recommendations.
- Reviewing and responding to Clients’ changing needs and financial circumstances.
- Analysing and reacting to the shifting requirements and financial situations of the clients
- To grow your business, take use of all marketing options, including those offered by social media and networking with other experts and introducers.
- Informing Introducers and Clients about new financial products or legislative changes that may have an impact on their Clients' pensions, savings, investments, and financial planning.
- Providing correct management information in accordance with requests.
- Constantly uphold the Fit and Proper and TCF standards in line with the policies and practises of the clients Financial Group.
- To keep one's knowledge current and to keep one's own CPD records current.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
- A Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or an FCA-approved equivalent) is a requirement for maintaining CF30 status and meeting FCA rules.
- The capacity to network and entice new clients through business growth and efficient business planning.
- Exemplifying a client-centred approach. demonstrating good communication, approachability, and professionalism.
- Excellent IT abilities and acceptance of the new virtual/digital means to engage with clients.
- Well-spoken, articulate, and committed to doing the right thing for our clients.
- Working with affinity groups, business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and retail customers to expand a client base.
New business Target
- Salary validation 2.75 x basic salary
- Bonus pot accrued based on gross remuneration received above the validation level. Bonus payments are subject to satisfactory KPIs. The following areas will be assessed:

- TCF Surveys
- Continuous Professional Development
- Customer Service Complaints
