Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management & Strategy
- Design and manage diversified investment portfolios across multiple asset classes
- Develop asset allocation strategies aligned to varying client objectives and risk profiles
- Identify investment opportunities through detailed market and economic analysis
- Execute trades efficiently, ensuring alignment with investment mandates and internal controls
- Performance & Oversight
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure alignment with benchmarks and strategic goals
- Conduct rebalancing activities and adjust positioning based on market conditions
- Analyse performance drivers and provide clear, data-driven insights
- Contribute to investment discussions and strategic direction at committee level
Risk & Governance
- Manage portfolio risk through robust frameworks and analytical tools
- Assess market, liquidity, and concentration risks across portfolios
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory and compliance standards
- Maintain high-quality documentation and audit trails
Research & Market Insight
- Stay ahead of global market trends, economic developments, and geopolitical factors
- Conduct in-depth research to support investment decisions and portfolio positioning
- Generate investment ideas and contribute to thought leadership
Stakeholder Engagement
- Articulate investment strategy and performance to internal stakeholders and, where required, clients
- Support business development initiatives with market insight and portfolio commentary
- Collaborate across teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality investment approach
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in portfolio management within wealth or investment management
- Strong understanding of multi-asset investing and portfolio construction
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
- Experience using investment platforms and tools such as Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet or Morningstar Direct
- Solid knowledge of risk metrics and performance measurement techniques
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
Qualifications
- Level 4 Investment Management qualification (minimum)
- Progress towards or completion of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent highly desirable

- Experience managing complex or high-net-worth portfolios
- Exposure to ESG or sustainable investment strategies
