Job Description

An exciting new opportunity has arisen with a leading Wealth Management firm based in Wrexham, to join their successful Mortgage team by providing daily administrative support to our in-house Mortgage Advisers.

 

Mortgage Administrator - Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of documentation for client meetings
  • Creation and maintenance of new and existing client records on the systems
  • Ensuring details on mortgage application are correct and the most up to date information as possible. Obtaining further information from client where required
  • Consistent and regular case tracking with mortgage lenders to see where each case is up to - chasing and providing any further info that is required to obtain offers as quickly as possible
  • Ensuring all compliance documents are completed and documented on each case
  • Writing a comprehensive suitability letter whilst adhering to set timescales
  • Liaising with Solicitors and building up professional relationships with third parties to assist in the forward movement of a case
  • Arranging client welcome cards and gifts
  • Appointment making
  • Answering of Incoming office calls
  • Reprioritise workload to ensure that all urgent work is actioned in a timely manner
  • Be involved and contribute at team meetings

 

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in Mortgage Admin or similar role is advantageous
  • Genuine interest in Financial Services
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Highly organised and works with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high number of cases at any one time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Approaches work positively with a can-do attitude and take responsibility for own tasks
  • Manages time effectively and can work within set timescales
  • Works well as an individual and as part of a large team
