NOC Engineer – SHIFT – 3 on, 3 off

Salary’s up to £27,500 Base Salary + Package

IRC are currently working with one of the leading Infrastructure & Connectivity Service Providers in the UK & Europe with exactly this kind of culture. Due to internal promotions and company growth, we are looking for a number of NOC Engineers who have a good understanding, and hands on experience of networking principles and setups, with a good grasp of ISP networking fundamentals.

The Network Operations Team is responsible for ultimately managing the live network environment and providing as close to 100% uptime of all devices on the network as possible - in line with agreed SLAs. In this role, working alongside colleagues you will liaise with customers and relevant 3rd parties to make sure that all service requests and incidents are dealt with promptly whilst being a point of escalation for 1st Line Team, troubleshooting 2nd line incident investigations to resolution and making sure that all incident management processes are followed to ensure timely resolution of Major Incidents and 2nd line tickets escalated from the Service Desk.

To be considered for this role you must have at least 1 – 2 years working in either a NOC / Service Desk environment & a Cisco CCNA or equivalent experience for you to be able to showcase a solid understanding of networking principles, and a good grasp of ISP networking fundamentals.
