My client is a privately owned, independent wealth management and private finance firm providing impartial advice and tailored solutions to individuals, families and businesses. The firm offers robust systems, strong compliance oversight and structured support for advisers and paraplanners.
Role Summary
The Paraplanner will provide technical research, report writing and administration to support financial advisers. Working remotely within the UK, the paraplanner will prepare suitability reports, carry out modelling and ensure cases progress smoothly and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed suitability and recommendation reports across investments, pensions, protection and tax-efficient wrappers
- Conduct technical research, product comparisons and financial modelling using firm tools
- Produce cashflow forecasts, retirement projections and scenario analysis
- Support adviser case progression: illustrations, application packs, paperwork and liaison with product providers
- Ensure accurate client records and file documentation in line with compliance standards
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and contribute to process improvements
- Liaise with external providers, administrators and internal teams to resolve queries and expedite implementations
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Part qualified diploma-level financial planning qualification or equivalent (e.g., APFS, CeMAP, or working toward)
- Proven paraplanning experience within UK financial services (typically 1+ years)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK pensions, ISAs, investments and protection products
- Good understanding of UK regulatory environment (FCA rules preferred)

- Proficient with financial planning software and MS Excel
- Self-motivated, organised and able to manage workload remotely
