Role Overview
The Private Wealth Manager will deliver bespoke wealth management solutions to HNW and UHNW clients in the UAE and internationally. The individual will act as a trusted adviser, combining rigorous financial planning with disciplined portfolio management while contributing to the continued growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Build, deepen and retain relationships with HNW/UHNW clients and their families
- Develop a detailed understanding of client circumstances, objectives, risk tolerance and constraints
- Act as the primary point of contact, coordinating all aspects of the client relationship and service delivery
Financial Planning & Advisory
- Conduct comprehensive financial reviews and needs analyses
- Design and implement tailored wealth plans, including: investment strategy, retirement planning, estate and succession planning, tax‑aware structuring and risk management
- Review and adjust strategies proactively in response to market conditions and changing client circumstances
Portfolio Management
- Construct, monitor and rebalance multi‑asset portfolios aligned with client mandates
- Utilise a broad investment toolkit (funds, ETFs, direct securities, alternatives and structured solutions where appropriate)
- Focus on achieving appropriate risk‑adjusted returns while preserving capital and managing downside risk
Business Development
- Originate and onboard new HNW/UHNW clients, with a particular focus on the UAE and wider GCC
- Leverage existing networks, professional introducers and targeted business development initiatives
- Work with internal teams on campaigns, events and content to support client acquisition and engagement
Governance, Compliance & Risk
- Adhere strictly to local regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date client documentation, suitability records and KYC/AML files
- Operate with the highest ethical standards, always acting in clients’ best interests
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline; advanced qualifications (e.g. MBA, CFA, CFP, CISI) strongly preferred
- Relevant industry certifications/licences appropriate for practice in the UAE (or ability to obtain within agreed timeframe)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in wealth management, private banking or investment advisory serving HNW/UHNW clients
- Demonstrable track record of originating, advising and retaining high‑value client relationships
- Strong understanding of global financial markets, portfolio construction and cross‑border wealth planning
- Transferable client base and AUM in the UAE
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly and build trust at senior levels
- High analytical capability, sound judgement and strong attention to detail
