Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and assessing business opportunities with respect to the channel development, syndicate deals etc.
  • Work closely with Regional VP & HK Exec. team to prepare regional expansion for Capital Markets.
  • Build new relationships with family offices, institutional investors, endowments, and foundations etc.
  • Conduct appropriate market research to target potential customers, hold meetings and clearly communicate the company's strategy and differentiation factors.
  • Provide professional investment advice to expand the institutional client base.
  • Contribute to revenue generation and profitability of Institutional sales business.
  • Execute related transactions professionally, ensure all transactions follow internal control procedures and the regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the team to explore business opportunities by performing research on issuers, investors, and market trends.
  • Leading the development of marketing and investor information.
  • Represent Company at industry events as required.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by the management.

Qualifications

  • Possess solid institutional client network with proven track record of investors, including Funds, Private Equity, Family Offices etc.
  • Degree holder in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or other related disciplines.
  • Sound knowledge of the capital markets in the UAE & wider GCC countries, as well as the relevant rules and regulations.
  • 5 to 10 years’ solid experience in Private Equity or Real Estate Fund under sizable financial institutions.
  • Quantifiable track record of closing successful cases.
  • Good team-player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English. Fluency in any other languages, such as Arabic will be considered as an asset.
